For as long as one could remember, women's prayer clothes, or "telekung," consist of a large, plain white cloth that covers the entire body and is worn with a long skirt that ends at the heels. While the head covering, also known as "tudung," has undergone significant modifications over time, the same could not be true for telekung.The unease with the aforementioned telekung's face design is the most concerning worry. Since it was so difficult to obtain a brooch that fits properly, women were forced to resort to using safety pins or brooches, which were worn beneath the chin.
Our Story
It all started when Puan Padzilah Enda Sulaiman, the founder, noticed that women often struggles to find a telekung that fits well and comfortable.
This concern triggered the formation of Siti Khadijah back in 2009 - to ensure that women could opt for a better, more comfortable telekung through innovation as well as to improve user experience during praying activities.
